From New York to Edinburgh, two designers cross around the whole earth to complete the promise of 51 E JOHN.
51 E JOHN is an experimental jewelry line that brings new blood to precise jewelry making process. The brand was founded in 2016 by two designers, Yang and Zhan. The name of the brand has an impressive story behind.
The name came from the address of John Street located in UIUC campus where the designers met each other and completed their jewelry degree within. They were classmates at that time, also jewelry students, jewelry lovers and roommates. They believe “51 E JOHN" should not only be an address of an apartment but a starting point of a dream come true.
